Situated between Tahrir Square and Tal‘at Harb Square, Superblock C includes well-known bars, clubs and restaurants such as After Eight, Vent and Estoril. Two main streets cross through this superblock; Qasr al-Nil Street and Champollion Street. Qasr al-Nil Street includes Cinema Qasr al-Nil, one of the most famous theaters in Cairo that has been closed for the last few years. Not only a theater for movies, Cinema Qasr al-Nil also hosted concerts by Umm Kulthum, Abdel Halim Hafez and Farid al-Atrash.
